Signal on the left: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a WCH gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

After seeing A724 leaving Bainbridge, I went on over to this crossing to catch them one more time. I was thinking of chasing them farther west, but as it was starting to get rather dark, and what lighting I did have was vanishing rather fast, I decided to go ahead and end the chase here.

This crossing is a very nice crossing, being pretty much a pure 1980s CSX install. Really, the only change that appears to have ever occured here is that the gate lights were replaced between 2008 and 2013, and then gate arms were replaced at some point between 2013 and the present. It also appears that the bell on the right-hand signal gets rotated on occasion, and in 2008, the bell faced towards the tracks (northwards). Then in 2013, the bell faced diagonally towards the crossing (northwest-ish), and finally, in 2019, the bell currently faces directly away from the tracks (southwards, towards the camera), which is a bit interesting to see. Wonder why this bell keeps getting rotated around? The bell on the right-hand signal also sounds a bit rough as well.
