After getting A724 at CR 20, I was able to race across Ozark and beat him to this crossing, which, like the past two crossings, was a high-priority crossing for me. The main reason is that, not only is this crossing a pure older SCL install (outside of the signage), but it's also an almost-pure Federal Signal install! In fact, literally the only pieces of equipment here that aren't from Federal Signal are the junction boxes between the lights, which are from Modern industries! This is also the only crossing in the state of Alabama to have two Federal Signal bells at it. Unfortunately, as you can easily hear, the bell on the closer signal is pretty much almost dead, with it clicking most of the time and ringing rather roughly when it's not. Hopefully CSX fixes this bell as well, but I wouldn't be surprised if they replace it. Either way, I'm glad to have recorded this classic crossing before any major changes could occur to it.
