After catching the train in Banks, I continued on over to this crossing to catch them again. However, they wound-up stopping and switching the interchange with the COEH in downtown Troy before continuing, where we hear them blowing for all of the various crossings in the downtown before reaching this crossing.

This crossing is a very nice one, as well as being the only 8 inch crossing in Troy (as well as being just one of two incandescent crossings in the city). The crossing features a pair of old ACL signals at it, and is still mostly "pure". The far signal has obviously been struck, at least once back in the 1970s, with the SCL replacing the pair of lights closest to the road with a pair of Safetran 8 inch lights. Meanwhile, the closer signal has pretty much remained a pure ACL install with the only damage to it being a bent background on one of the rear lights. According to Google Street View, from 2007 to 2009, the far signal retained its original base and the closer signal still had a cats-eyed crossbuck. Then, between 2009 and 2013, CSX replaced the base on the far signal with a newer, and replaced the cats-eyed crossbuck with a newer reflective one at around the same time, it appears. However, all of the remaining US&S lights here have managed to retain their original vandal-guards, which is quite nice to see. And like Broad Street in Cairo, GA, this crossing retains the base of the old WRRS locomotive-style bell that was originally here! However, unlike the crossing in Cairo, the base of the previous bell is quite visible in this video. All in all, this is a great crossing and I'm glad to have gotten a video of it.

This was the fifth crossing I caught CSX B211 at. Decided to come back here since I wanted to record some more WRRS gate mechs, and I always like the look of this one. Thankfully, as you can see, nothing all that major has changed to this crossing, and it still retains its pair of classic ACL signals. In fact, the only change I noticed to this crossing is that, apparently sometime after I recorded my previous video here back in 2019, the tip gate light on the closer signal was replaced with an NEG LED gate light.
As you can see though, that has thankfully been the only major change here, with both signals retaining all of their 8 inch lights (and all of the vandal guards on the remaining US&S lights), their WRRS gate mechs, and the very nice sounding WRRS bell on the far signal. Hopefully these ACL classics remain around here for many more years to come, but either way, I'm glad to have been able to get a second video of them.
