Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights and a dead Modern Industries mechanical bell.

After I caught the BAYL shoving into the yard, I went on up to the interchange yard to try and record this crossing or Burdeshaw Street #1 in action. However, it turned out both crossings were active (and the mechanical bells at both were dead), due to the cars for the woodchip train sitting on this crossing! While I was getting some pictures of Burdeshaw Street #1 in action, the ISRR GP40/AN GP38-3 pair came up running lite, attached themselves to the cars, and pulled them south out of the interchange yard. As such, I raced on up to this crossing to record them shoving back up to the CSX Dothan Sub, where they'd be getting on it to run to Grimes.
Unfortunately, this would be my last catch of the BAYL as the train disappeared after this (I was going to try to get them again at Murray Road), so I went onto lunch before heading out to the Dothan Sub in Georgia to try my luck on A724 there. I don't really mind missing them after this though, as they'd only be taking the train as far north as Newville again before tying it down for the evening.

This crossing is another nice one, due to it being pretty much another pure 1970s BAYL install like Columbia Highway, though a slightly later one it appears, based on the design of the bases. In fact, these signals were likely installed around the same time as Park Avenue's were, based on the designs of the bases. Like both Columbia Highway and Park Avenue, this crossing is another pure MI install, which is nice to see. Unfortunately, the bell here (along with the bell at Burdeshaw Street #1, as mentioned above) is dead. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised by this, given the fact that the bell is literally covered in lichens (on everywhere but the gong, interestingly enough), but this, combined with the bad MI bell at Columbia, I guess this spells the end for the mechanical bells along the BAYL between the two yards in Dothan.
