*originally recorded on 7-30-19*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

After seeing A724 switching at Miller Avenue, I went on over here to get this crossing recorded. After a few minutes of waiting, A724 finished up their switching and continued traveling west on the Dothan Sub towards Montgomery.

Like Miller Avenue, this crossing is another pure 1990s CSX install, though this one was only installed with one bell for some reason (appears to be a rarity for gated crossings along this line, especially newer ones). According to Google Street View, this crossing still had its original fiberglass gate arms and Safetran gate lights back in 2013, but those have obviously long since been replaced. A bit of a shame, but at least this was the only major change here. The gate mech on the right also squeaks a bit as it finishes lowering for some reason.
