*originally recorded on 7-31-19*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of WABCO 8 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a WABCO Model 75 gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of WABCO 8 inch lights, a WCH mechanical bell, a WABCO Model 75 gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

After A724 met the Bainbridge Local in Climax, I chased it on over to the east side of Bainbridge, where we see it rolling through with an AC44CW leading an ES40DC.

This crossing is a pretty nice one, featuring a pair of older WABCO signals installed by the SCL. These signals are still mostly original, with the only major change having been that both of the original WABCO bells, that it most likely had, were replaced in the 80s by the SBD with the current WCH mechanical bells. Other than that though, this crossing still remains largely original, which is quite nice.
Both of the bells do sound quite nice, which is nice to see these days, even if they do both sound a bit rough. Really, the only major problem on this side of the crossing is the stop sign, which blocked part of the signal on the right. Fortunately, the lights and gate mech are still mostly visible, but it's a bit annoying anyways, especially since this is the best angle for the seeing the lights without setting-up in the road (and/or US 84, which is behind me). Even with this though, it's still quite a nice crossing, and I'm glad to have been able to record it.
