This is how I get most of my equipment and I feel proud that I am saving stuff from scrap. Anyone else out there that is willing to go into signal graveyards and not feel bad about it? I just want some moral advice about it.

What about UP, BNSF, and KCS? Do they ever reuse older equipment such as m bells and e bells that have been removed?

But then again, it makes sense why scrap metal thieves (opinion) probably take parts from abandoned crossings, or people just steal them and post them on Ebay.
