Mike's Railroad Crossing Forum

Finally got a video of this crossing. I went out to this crossing in hopes to catch UP 1988 as it was supposed to be passing by In the West Bottoms. Crossing itself is very interesting as the tracks run right through the intersection. This crossing has had upgrades throughout the years such as the cantilevers along having their original incandescent lights being retrofitted to Electro-Tech leds along with the gated signal at Hickory st having its lights retrofitted, the old wch mechanical bells at Union Ave being replaced by the current e bells, the and the gate mechanisms being replaced by newer wch gate mechs. This crossing is the site of one of Virtual Railfan's cameras he has going here. I'm certainly glad to film this crossing in action along with another crossing I got to film at as well.
