Recorded 5-1-20. First time filming a train on the KCS Pittsburg Sub. I like to thank Independence Railfanning for giving me the heads up on this train, and the UP coal on the Coffeyville Sub. I went out to this crossing as I seen Independence Railfanning film here, and I wanted to film here since then. This crossing is a bit of a sad one as KCS neglects this crossing. Sadly, one of the modern industries 12x24 lights is broken, and one of the lights has its visor missing. To make things more sad, the first gen wch mechanical bell here is really flat. Hopefully KCS will come out here and maybe give this crossing an led upgrade or something like that. Train itself is really interesting to me as this was the first time I saw a BNSF coal train. Not only that, but a loaded coal train too! This train had BNSF sd70ace leaders, a BNSF gevo, along with a KCS gevo and sd70ace as the dpus! I do apologize for the dirty lens, and my car's alarm going off. I was locking the car as this area is in a bad spot to film at tbh.
