After watching ATN M715 finish up switching and eventually leave Guntersville, we continued on down to Albertville. The train stopped on the north side of US 431 to switch the customer there (as usual), so we went around looking at the crossings in town. We decided to set-up here, and wait for them. After a little while of waiting, M715 approached the crossing, but stopped to set-out a few cars on the passing siding just north of it. Had I known they were going to do this, I would've re-recorded McKinney Avenue, but oh well.
In the second video, we see M715 pulling out and shoving back to set-out the cars on the passing siding.
This crossing isn't really the most interesting one out there, but I do think it looks pretty nice. The signals here appear to have been installed around 2016 or so (with the ones on US 431), but I wasn't aware of their existence until late last year when I stumbled upon them by accident. Nothing really too special here though, but the bells do ring when the gates rise, which is nice to see. Sounds like the gate arm on the closer signal whacks the wind guard when it raises as well.
