*originally recorded on 6-30-20*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Progress Rail 12x20 inch lights with Harmon Fading LEDs.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights with Harmon Dotted LEDs and a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell.

This was the final place we caught GC L782 at. We had originally planned on chasing them all the way to Vidalia, but it turned out that they were going to meet L781 at Collins on this day, so we went ahead and got ourselves some lunch before going back out to catch L781.

This crossing's another pretty nice one, being one of only two active gateless crossings on the Georgia Central. It appears that originally, this crossing featured a pair of bell-less SAL signals at it, but in the early 2000s, the closer one was replaced (I guess due to being struck?). Then, sometime between 2008 and 2011, the 8 inch lights on the far signal were replaced with the current Progress Rail light-heads. Then, in 2012, the Georgia Central added the current GS Type 2 e-bell to the closer signal, with no major changes since then. Blane (georgiacentralfan) has some videos of this crossing prior to the e-bell being added here.

No major changes to this crossing as of 6-21-21, other than the base of the closer signal being replaced:
