*originally recorded on 7-2-20*

Signal on the left: 3 pairs of WABCO 8 inch lights, a WRRS mechanical bell, a WRRS gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 5 pairs of WABCO 8 inch lights, a WRRS mechanical bell, a WRRS gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

From one 2nd Street to another, this was the next crossing we chased GC L781 to. This crossing is another great one, featuring a classic pair of RACO cantilevers installed by the SCL at it, with few, if any, changes to the crossing. I'm not entirely sure if the WABCO lights here are original, but if they aren't, they still suit the crossing quite well. Both WRRS bells here also sound quite healthy, so hopefully they'll be around for a good while longer. The closer one is also mounted on an unusual base (which appears to be an older one meant for a WRRS mini-bell, IMHO), so that's neat to see. I believe the crossing is also the last one along this line to still retain a pair of WRRS gate mechs, so that's a nice touch. The gate lights on the far side were also miswired.
All in all, I'm glad to have been able to record this crossing.

No major changes here as of 6-22-21, though the mis-wired gate lights were fixed:
