*originally recorded on 7-29-20*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.

This was the next train that I caught yesterday. It was NS A83 returning back east to Sheffield Yard with a pair of SD40-2s for power. The train actually snuck up on me, though thankfully, I had left my camera rolling while I was waiting in my car.

This ain't my standard angle for recording a crossing, but I feel like I'd be remiss if I didn't include the classic Southern Railway gantry located right next to the crossing in my video. The crossing itself ain't too interestin' anyways, just bein' a pretty standard late-2000s NS install that most likely replaced a pair of crossbucks. It does appear to be almost entirely original though, complete with a pair of diagonally striped gate arms, which is always nice to see.
As you can see, this crossing is also located at MP 414 along the NS Memphis District West End. It's also at the eastern end of a siding, which is labeled as CP Carlin, per the relay case for the block signals here.

The only noticeable change here as of 8-6-25 was that the gate arms were both replaced at some point with newer ones:
