After catching NS 320 in Bear Creek, I chased it on down to the Jasper area, where it stopped in the siding at Gamble to meet NS 329. As 329 hadn't gotten here yet, I went on down to this crossing to catch it. After a while of waiting, 329 came on through with quite a nice lash-up on it. The head end power had an SD70ACe leading a pair of Dash-9s and an ex-N&W SD40-2, and the mid-DPUs were an SD70IACe pair! Easily the star of the show here is, of course, the ex-N&W SD40-2, especially since it's still in the older NS paint scheme and retains its original N&W reporting marks.
The crossing itself is also pretty decent, being an early 2000s NS install. However, at some point between 2011 and 2013, the closer signal here was replaced with a newer (but otherwise almost identical) one, with the side lights (and mounting arm they're on) being re-used, it appears. Since then, it appears no major changes have occured here.
With this crossing, however, I can honestly say I only have six signalized crossings on the NA District left to record, all of which are up in Russellville! Not sure when I'll get around to those, but I might just see about making a few return trips in the mornings to Russellville just to get 320 at each of 'em.
