After catching the BNSF local freight, I went over to Highland Avenue to see if anything would come before I ran out of daylight. Well, the sun sank below the horizon, and as I was considering heading on home, CP South Jasper lit-up for a southbound train to come through. As such, I stayed here to wait for the train, which turned out to be a rather short southbound mixed freight, possibly a late-running H-MEMBIR, with an H2 GE (I believe a Dash-9?) leading a pair of H3 GEVOs. Certainly not a bad train to end off on.
I will admit, this crossing ain't too interesting. The signals here were installed sometime within the past few years (I think possibly 2019?), replacing a pair of gated WCH signals installed by the BN back in the 1980s. Of course, with how modern these signals are, I ain't too surprised to see no major changes here yet, and I doubt any will occur for a good while yet.
However, with this video, I have recorded every signalized crossing in Jasper, though I did return here a few days later to get a better video of this crossing in the daytime.
