Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
After catching the two southbounds, I went back up to Callahan Street since I'd heard there were apparently three northbounds on the way. As such, I got set-up here, and after a little while of waiting, I thought I started to hear a train horn to my south. Not too long after, the defect detector about 1.5 miles to my south went off, so I figured it must've been for a local or something, as the train didn't seem to be right on top of me yet. However, I didn't have to wait too long, as this northbound local freight soon came through with a single SD40-2 hauling a pair of covered hoppers into the yard here.
This crossing is also a rather nice one, featuring a nice "pure" mid-1990s NS install that hasn't seen any major changes to it over the years. Another nice feature about this crossing is easily the fact that it also has the bell here ring as the gates rise, and the Safetran bell here still sounds quite healthy as well (if maybe a bit flat). Hopefully these signals remain unchanged for many more years to come.
The gates did remain down for a while after the train had passed though, and I ain't entirely sure why.
