Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 8 inch lights, a dying Safetran mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 8 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

This was the third crossing we chased L781 to, and like the two before it, it's a pretty nice one. This one's yet another late-70s SCL install which is still almost entirely original. The only major change here is that sometime between 2008 and 2012, the original Safetran mechanical bell on the closer signal must've died and was replaced with the current GS Type 2. Thankfully, no other major changes have occured here, so it's nice to see this crossing is still largely original. Unfortunately, the remaining Safetran mechanical bell here's definitely on its way out, given how it starts a bit late and then noticeably struggles as the gates begin to lower. Hopefully the GC gives this one some TLC. Either way though, this is another nice crossing and I'm glad to have finally recorded it.
