*originally recorded on 7-30-21*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with WCH 2nd Generation LEDs, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

This was the third and final crossing I filmed in Cordele on this day. The train I caught here was another westbound mixed freight, this time with an ET44AH pulling on the head-end and an ES44AH working as the mid-train DPU. After this train, I went over to our hotel room for the night, as it was getting dark.

This crossing is another rather nice one, featuring a nice early-mid-1990s CSX install that's pretty much almost entirely original. In fact, it appears that the only major change here is the LED upgrade this crossing got when CSX upgraded the Fitzgerald Sub around 2014/2015. Both of the original WCH mechanical bells here still work and sound great, so I'm glad to see that. This crossing also appear to have gotten its signals a little bit before Midway Road #2, as these ones feature the 80s-style of Safetran gate mech while Midway Road #2 features the mid-90s-style of Safetran gate mech. This was certainly a great little crossing to end the day off on, and I'm glad I was able to get a video of it.
