Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights and an NEG electronic bell.

Just after I126 passed, and about the time I was shutting off my camera, I started hearing a nearby train horn. At first, I just thought it was I126's horn, but I quickly realized it wasn't: it was the WTNN's Humboldt turn heading back to Jackson! As such, I quickly raced over to this crossing and was just able to get here just as the WTNN was crossing the diamond. I was able to just get set-up and started in time to record the crossing, with I think just a handful of seconds to spare. Here we see the WTNN Humboldt turn come through on their way back to Jackson with a pair of ex-Conrail B23-7s for power and an nice RS3L on the leader! This was also my fifth and final train of the day, and after this, I went down to Jackson for some food and gas before driving straight back home.

This crossing is another nice one, featuring a pair of older gateless signals at it, still controlled from a classic GRS relay case. It appears that originally, there was a pair of signals from the GM&O here. However, in the mid-1990s, NS replaced both signals here with the current ones, which originally had a Safetran mechanical bell. The signals then remained unchanged for over two decades, but sometime between 2019 and 2020, the WTNN sadly replaced the Safetran mechanical bell here with the current NEG e-bell. Since then, however, the signals have remained unchanged once again, and the GRS relay case has also been left alone and still controlling the signals. Hopefully no further changes occur to this crossing (and especially not to the relay case), but either way, I'm glad I got to record it when I did.
