After I finished chasing L810, and got myself a late-lunch/early supper, I went over to the CSX W&A Subdivision to see if anything was running, deciding to go for a couple of more interesting crossings on the north side of Cartersville. I got here and got set-up, and, after about an hour of waiting, I was thankfully able to get this CSX M203 going south through Cartersville with an ES44AH leading an ET44AH, elephant-style, for power.

This crossing is definitely a very nice one, featuring a 1970s L&N install. It appears that, in the 1980s, either the SBD or CSX upgraded the lights here to the current WCH 12x24 inch light heads, followed by CSX replacing the relay case here in the 2000s. Then, finally, in early-2022, CSX gave this crossing an LED upgrade alongside the rest of the incandescent crossings on the W&A Sub, with no further changes since then, thankfully.
Despite the LED upgrade here, this crossing still looks quite nice. The older WCH 12x24 inch lights here look great on the crossing, with the backgrounds on them starting to look nicely faded. The original Modern Industries mechanical bell is still here and still sounds fairly healthy, and the original GRS gate mechs are also still around as well, all of which are great to see. Hopefully CSX leaves this crossing unchanged for many more years to come, but, either way, I'm glad to have been able to film it.
