*originally recorded on 9-16-23*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights with General Signals LEDs and a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 12x24 inch lights with Harmon Dotted LEDs and 2 pairs of WCH 12x24 inch lights with General Signals LEDs.

This was the tenth crossing I caught this train at, and it's a pretty decent one. This crossing is one of the six remaining gateless crossings on the CCKY. Originally, there was a pair of gateless Central of Georgia Railway signals here, which had had the lights replaced with either RACO or Safetran 8 inch lights by the Southern Railway and the bell had been replaced with a WCH e-bell by the CCKY. However, at some point between the late-2000s and when @EthantheRailfanner visited this crossing in 2021, those signals had been replaced with the current gateless signals you see here.
It honestly appears these ones were built out of spare parts, given the mix of older and newer light heads and LEDs here, though I ain't entirely sure where any of the equipment would've come from. The bell here is a loud-tone GS Type 2, which is quite nice to see, as I always like the "throaty" sound these bells produce.
