Signal on the left: 2.5 pairs of Federal Signal 8 inch lights, 1 WRRS 8 inch light, a GRS gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Federal Signal 8 inch lights, an NEG electronic bell, an Invensys Rail gate mechanism, RECO LED gate lights, and an NEG LED gate light.

After catching I142 in Upton, I chased it on up to this crossing in Elizabethtown. Thankfully, I was able to get to this crossing with a few seconds to spare, before CSX I142 came roaring by once again.

This crossing is another great one, featuring another 1970s L&N install, though this one featuring a pair of double-mast signals at it. It appears it was pretty much fully original up until sometime between 2008 and 2013, when CSX replaced the mast on the gate mast of the closer signal, and replaced the GRS gate mech with the current Invensys Rail one. Then, sometime between 2013 and 2019, CSX replaced the original mechanical bell here with the current NEG e-bell. Since then, however, this crossing has thankfully remained unchanged, with the far signal still retaining its classic GRS gate mech and both signals remaining fully 8 inch.
