Just as the Amtrak Cardinal was about to depart, the CNLA's train finished their interchanging and started to make its way back west up this former ACL branch. As such, once Amtrak passed, I hopped back in my car and raced over to this crossing to see if I couldn't beat them here. Thankfully, it seems they had to stop and work a customer on their way back, and I was able to catch them once again, with the GP38-2 now running long-hoods forwards for my sixth train of the day. As you can tell though, I only just got my camera down with seconds to spare before the crossing activated.

It appears this crossing is another NCYR install from the 2000s, which originally had a pair of WCH e-bells. Sometime between 2012 and 2022, however, both e-bells were replaced with the current Safetran/WCH mechanical bell pair by the CLNA, which is rather nice to see. Always nice to get to film more mechanical bells, as well as seeing them having replaced e-bells at a crossing. And I got two crossings filmed on this shortline when I wasn't originally planning to get any, so that's always a bonus.
