Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Siemens gate mechanism, a RECO gate light, an NEG LED gate light, and a RECO LED gate light.
Signal on the right: 2.5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, 1 Safetran 12x24 inch light, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
After filming some traffic lights, EquusStorm and I went down to this crossing to wait for another train. After a little while of waiting, we were able to get our third train of the day: a westbound lite power move of a pair of AC44C6Ms with a friendly crew!
This crossing's a nice one, and I'm glad I was finally able to film it. The signals here were installed by NS back in the 2000s, it appears, though, sometime between 2015 and 2016, NS replaced the bell and gate mechanism on the far signal with the current ones. Then, sometime between 2022 and 2023, NS replaced the left-rear light on the closer signal with the current (reused) Safetran 12x24. Thankfully, since then, no further major changes appear to have occurred to this crossing. Definitely not the most interesting crossing in Birmingham, though I'm still glad I was able to film it.
