*originally recorded on 10-3-24*
Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
After 15T came through, I went down to this crossing for the second southbound. I wound-up getting here just before it did, and, a minute or two later, I was able to get my third train of the day: NS 355 with an ET44AC leading an AC44C6M for power.
This crossing is another decent one, featuring another (almost) fully-original early-2000s NS install. The only noticeable change here was that NS replaced the closer signal's gate arm at some point within the past two years or so. Thankfully, the far signal does still retain its original diagonally-striped gate arm, which is nice to see.
Fun fact, this is also the 1,600th railroad crossing I've ever recorded!
