Signal on the far left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the near left: 1 pair of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

After catching Amtrak 19, I went and documented a couple of crossing upgrades in Douglasville for the site before heading over to this crossing and waiting for my next train. After a few hours of waiting, I was able to catch my second train of the day: NS 346 with an ES44AC pulling and an SD70ACe working as the train's DPU.

This crossing is a pretty neat one, being another one located at an intersection. The signals here were originally installed by the Southern Railway back in the late-1970s. In the 2000s, NS replaced the bell on the far mast signal with the current GS Type 2 e-bell. Then, sometime between 2008 and 2013, NS replaced all of the 8 inch mast lights here with the current Safetran 12x20s, which were incandescent at the time. At about the same time, the Safetran mechanical bell on the cantilever here was replaced by the current Safetran Type 3 e-bell. Then, sometime between 2013 and 2018, NS replaced the gate mech on the cantilever with the current reused Safetran one. In the same timeframe, likely around 2015/2016, NS upgraded this crossing to LED and replaced the original 24 inch backgrounds on the overhead lights here with the current 20 inch ones. Thankfully, since then, nothing else too major has changed to this crossing, which is nice to see. I'm glad to see the mast signals here retain their original gate mechs, along with the original overhead light heads on the cantilever (even if they're now LED and with replacement backgrounds). The bell combo here is nice too, Safetran Type 3s pair nicely with GS Type 2s. One thing I do especially like here, however, is that all three gate arms here are still the older diagonally striped ones. Definitely nice to see more of those still in use.
