After catching 395 in downtown Temple, I decided to chase it west back into Alabama. As I was going west down US 78, however, I noticed that I was already ahead of it by the time I reached the diamond in Bremen, so I decided to try to stop and get it at a crossing instead of heading straight for Muscadine as I'd planned. I decided to go with this crossing on the west side of Bremen, as it appeared to be a late-90s NS install, and I was able to set-up here with a few minutes to spare. Here we get to see NS 395 for the second time on this day, with the crew giving a friendly horn salute as they pass.

This crossing's a pretty decent one, indeed featuring a late-90s NS install at it. Unfortunately, it appears that the original GS Type 1 here was replaced at some point in the 2000s or 2010s with the current GS Type 2 e-bell. Of course, in the mid-2010s, NS upgraded this crossing to LED as well. Thankfully, since then, nothing too major appears to have changed to this crossing. Interestingly, the bell here is set to ring when the gates rise, which is nice to see.
