Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

After filming the intersection with the incandescent Safetran traffic lights, I saw that 20 was lined through Anniston so I hopped over to this crossing to wait for him. Unfortunately, it was running a few minutes late so it wound-up coming just after sunset instead of just before, but, either way, after some waiting, I was able to catch my eighth and final train of the day: Amtrak 20 with a P42DC leading an ALC-42 for power and a friendly crew aboard who gave me a horn salute as they passed! I will also say, there were some excellent echos off of this train's horn as they blew for the 4th Street crossing while gliding to a stop at the Anniston station.

This crossing is a rather nice one, featuring five different tracks running across it with Alabama State Route 204 passing overhead on an overpass right over the crossing. The signals here were installed by NS back in the mid-90s (it appears), though in the latter-half of the 2000s, NS replaced the bell here with the current Safetran Type 3 e-bell. Thankfully, since then, nothing else too major appears to have changed to this crossing, which is rather nice to see. This is honestly a crossing I've been meaning to film for quite a while now, entirely thanks to its location, so I'm glad I was finally able to get it filmed on this day.
