After catching L717 at the pedestrian crossing in Winter Springs, I waited by the southernmost crossing (which just as a pair of crossbucks) next to the scrap yard at the south end of the line in Winter Springs. Eventually, after a little while of waiting, L717 got going back north, so I tried to chase them back up to this crossing. Thankfully, I was able to beat them here with roughly a minute at best to spare. Here we see CSX L717 for the fourth time on this day, on their way back up to Sanford.

This crossing is another nice one, and another one I'm quite glad I was able to catch on this trip (even if I wasn't originally planning on trying for it). It appears that these signals were installed here back in 2007, replacing crossbucks, per street view imagery from November of that year, presumably when the trail next to this crossing was being built. Thankfully, since then, these signals have remained largely unchanged, with the only noticeable changes being the replacements of all of the gate arms and gate lights here. Thankfully, all of the signals still retain their original gate mechs, light heads, LEDs, and e-bells, which is great to see! Definitely nice to get another one of these fully-original mid-2000s CSX installs recorded, especially one that's still fully original like this one. Admittedly, I think this is also the first mid-2000s CSX install I've ever filmed with ped gates at it. Hopefully these signals continue to remain fully original for many more years to come, but, either way, I'm quite glad I got to record them when I did.
Also, as a side note, this crossing had been the southernmost signalized crossing on the CSX Aloma Spur up until the early-2020s, when the pedestrian crossing to the southeast in Winter Springs proper was built. It appears that the two road signals start slightly out of sync from the other as well, causing the two bells to make something of an "echo" with their slightly out of sync ringing. Definitely not the first time I've seen that on a crossing, TBH. Far from it, in fact.
