Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with Safetran Fading LEDs, a Safetran Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
While waiting for the northbound intermodal, I heard a southbound approaching so I hopped on over to this crossing to wait on it. As there was a defect detector to my south, I decided to grab my scanner to snag a recording of it after the train passed. Unfortunately, the next train that came through wound-up being a northbound grain train with a CN ES44DC leading an IC (CN) Dash-9 for power.
This crossing is another great one, featuring another late-90s/early-2000s IC install that's basically unchanged from when it was installed. Like with Lamar Street, CN restriped the original gate arms here at some point as well. Of course, the best part about this crossing is easily the fact that it still retains its rare Safetran Type 1 e-bell! Unfortunately, due to how long the train was, the defect detector was reading-out the entire time the bell was ringing, but you can still hear it. I may see about coming back this way soon-ish to try and get another video, but, at the very least, I'm still glad I was able to snag a recording of this crossing when I did.
