After catching 289 in Saulsbury, we saw that 287 was already lined through the control point there, so vtgrxrman and I decided to head for another nearby crossing to try and catch it. Unfortunately, our first choice of the next crossing west, Sparkman Road, was being held active by the eastbound train waiting in the siding for the trio of westbounds, so we decided to hop to the next crossing east of Church Street, that being this one. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait too long here before we were able to catch our fifth train of the day: NS 287 with an AC44C6M leading an SD70ACe for power.
This crossing's a pretty decent one, being another one located in another nicely rural spot. The signals here appear to have been installed in about 2017/2018, and are largely unchanged. At some point, NS replaced one gate light on both gate arms here (the tip one on the far signal and the middle one on the closer signal) with RECO incandescent gate lights. Interestingly, the one on the closer signal is an older RECO incandescent gate light, which is pretty nice to see. Definitely glad I was able to get this crossing, NGL, even if the equipment here isn't the most interesting out there.
