Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.

After catching 287, vtgrxrman and I hopped back over to this crossing in Rogers Springs for the eastbound train waiting at Saulsbury. After a bit of waiting here, we were able to catch our sixth train of the day: a very short eastbound NS mixed freight flying past with a pair of AC44C6Ms for power! Definitely one of the shorter road freights I've seen on a Class I main, TBQH. Honestly feels about as short as a mainline British freight, lol.

This crossing is another nice one, located in another decently rural spot. The signals here appear to have been installed in the late-90s by NS, though it's possible they were an early-2000s install as well. It appears that sometime in the mid-2000s to mid-2010s, or possibly as recently as by the time EthantheRailfanner visited here back in 2020 if the bell was reused from somewhere else, NS replaced the bell here with the current Safetran Type 3 e-bell. Thankfully, since then, nothing else too major has changed to these signals. For whatever reason, the lights on the far signal are also spread a bit far apart.
