this summer on my model railroad, i decided to make some non working decoration signals for a crossing. here are some photos and they say what i did.

not bad, but they needed visors. Good work.

Pretty smart idea if you ask me. Would have never thought to use a nail for the pole... but it does work. The color is right and the top of the nail looks like a pinnacle.

Just watch out for the sharp edge if you have a car derail in the crossing or something.

the top of the nail has gotten me a few times.
