Hi, All (FOUND ANOTHER DIALIGHT FORGOT I HAD IT)
Here I have 4 - 12" LED Crossing Light Assemblies that were removed for being Intermitantly defective. Each had a cold solder joint. It took about 5 min to fix each one. I have 2 Dialight and 2 Safetrans a 2000A and 2000B. If anyone is interested you can see the photo's at the link below. I have not been able to add pic's to the forum. Can't quite figure it out. I have 4 more Safetrans coming. I don't know if they are A or Bmodels or a mixture. I can't tell what the difference is in the A and B. All 3 were powered off my 12vdc power supply even though the Dialight says that it is AC only. I don't know the value of these so I will be letting you make offers, But please keep it fare no lowballing please.

I tried looking online to see the difference, and I can't find any.

I did find something very interesting though. I found a mention of the FLX-1000, which is the 8" variation found in Tempe, AZ. This one article I found said they were made in October 1997.

I haven't found anything about the FLX-2000(A or B) yet.

IT IS 4 - 12" LEDS NOW FOUND ANOTHER DIALIGHT UNDER A PILE IN THE SHED, I FORGOT ABOUT HAVING IT. WILLING TO TRADE FOR JUST ABOUT ANYTHING ( AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T EAT).

Just out of curiosity, can the Safetran FLX-2000's be opened up to see what kinds of LEDs are inside, like what size they are, or if they are clear or red?

Yes, They are about 3/16" and clear, and a bunch of them. Several sets of series in parallel. I will measure them if you need an exact size and count. If so let me know and I will get you a size and count.

When the LEDs light up, are they white, or red with the red cover off?

Can they be measured in millimeters? Are they 10mm in size?

White and smaller more like 4 or 5mm.

They're that small?! 5mm seems a bit small for LEDs that have to fit in a 12" circle...

Like I said there is a whole bunch of them I will post a pic tonight.

Yeah, I know that many 12" LED frames have over 200 LEDs, but I thought they were around 8 or 10mm in size...
