Could you imagine all the pissed off people waiting for an 887 car train to go by... probably at about 10 MPH!

That would take about an hour I'd imagine.
Trains have never been that long around the 1980s LA Harbor days. I did see some trains over 200 car lengths in the past out there, blocking traffic for about 10-20 minutes going only 10 MPH out there, but 800+???

Wonder how long it would take to stop that train? I would hate to have to see them put it into emergency.
