Well, before he left the OCR-WI, "Uncle" Rodney Kreunen managed to put a death sentence on several more classic crossing setups. They may have gotten a stay of execution due to his retirement (note the deadlines on the orders have already passed and the crossings are unchanged), but according to their 2009 projects list, the OCR still wants them upgraded by the end of this year.
The wigwag on Kahl Road in Black Earth. Lightly used country road, lightly used rail line. Ugh.

Highland Avenue in Madison. Classic Griswold cantilevers here. Luckily it was delayed beyond the December 31, 2008 deadline and I got pictures a few weeks ago which are in my submission queue.

You Sir, are
PRIME "Comish'n" material! Better start working on your beer, cheese, and bratwurst diet now.

Dang is it that easy to be on top of the "railroad" world? Spend a hundred racks on a line with two trains a day on a country road
AND GET PAID FOR IT? I should be able to get more than beer and brats!!

I think i could get used to this!!

Where do i sign?
ps. i forgot to add on the wayside horns so it can be a quiet zone!! btw will the wigwag will at least be saved and restored or is it really the end of the road?

Well, this at least is a kind of good sign. It shouldn't go into a signal maintainer's garage, on to E-bay, or be parted out...

NO! Not the Kahl Road wig-wag! But why does it have 2 bells?
