Not that I condone this type of behavior... nor would I ever do it... but is what they did possible? All you need is a pair of jumper cables?

Yep, that's all you need. Any piece of metal that will connect the rails together is called a "shunt". Of course...it's a federal offense...so I don't ever try it.

anyone notice the cop car that went by when it showed the crossing overview when the gates were fully in the vertical position??? I thought that cop would pull over to see what they were doing...

Yeah... I saw the cop car too. I'm sure if anything he thought it was just a malfunction... not somebody being mischievous.

I'm sure those kids were crapping their pants though when they saw him!

these kids get away with setting off the signals but yet i stand at a crossing and the cops and security are all over me
