This video has a unusual crossing incident.

First, the gate is rising at the beginning.

Watch the white sedan that comes onto the screen at the very beginning.
Note how it stops, then tries to back up, only for the gate to come down onto it.
Also, note the bracer.

The gate is on its way UP at the beginning of the video. Malfunction, or had another train just passed?

I was thinking "second train".

YEP thats why the bells should NOT ring when the gates go up
because if another train is coming the bell will come on and the gate will lower again

fyi also there was no gate guard on that gate

I don't think the bells ring when the gates go up because once the train passes you never hear the bells ring again. I think the video started just as the bells began to ring again for the second train.

Meanwhile in this video, all three gate lights on the signal closest to the camera flash at once, while on the other gate, they seem to flash the way they should:

oh thats common can be a short in the gate mech. or got whacked real hard by a truck either way it doesn't take much to cause those to flash.
