Here's something very weird... The traffic lights you see are for a railroad crossing, and not a street intersection!

You can see a lone mast signal to the center-right of picture 1, with front facing 12"x20" frames with no bell guarding the ramp of Secondary route 319.

Picture 1 faces East. Picture 2 faces West.

A return trip to the crossing on 9-23-23 by freebrickproductions finds not too much has changed to this unusual crossing, outside two of the traffic lights being replaced by newer ones and the installation of a pair of crossbucks.

The first crossbuck.

The traffic lights that guard the crossing for most traffic, which were all originally Durasig signals, seen in the first two pictures, but two were replaced by newer GTE signals.

The lone crossing signal here, which protects traffic on the ramp from TN 319. It's unusual to see an NS crossing here in the southeast with Federal Signal 12x20 inch lights, as the Southern never used them.

A pair of dwarf signals stand around the crossing to let train crews know when they can cross.
