The driver, a male (age unknown) failed to stop for the gated signals. He was driving a 2000 or 2001 Nissan Maxima, which was a rental car. The driver would not wait for the police to show up. He told DGNO that he was fine, and would handle the situation himself, then he left the scene. The driver also said the warning time was less than 20 seconds.

 

The accident report also calls this crossing "BURNING TREE LN" for some odd reason?
