Good looking gateless
12"x20" signals.
|
I like this warning sign.
There used to be another on the opposite side, but it was knocked down.
This one is gone as well as of December 2003.
|
The signal in picture 2 was supposed to flash when a
train was coming. It is now replaced by standard signs on posts.
Just like in Dallas, TX, the railroad name changes
from DGNO to FWWR on the other side of I-35W. I don't know why
railroads in Texas keep doing this? I made the railroad FWWR for now,
but I'd go more with DGNO for ownership rather than FWWR.
Pictures 1 and 2 were taken by Josh Baumann.

For some weird reason,
the cantilever and gateless signal were removed, and the signals are
now gated with 12"x24" (likely US&S) frames.

A couple of individual
updates from TrainmanAlex2 taken November 8, 2008.
|
A return visit by Morrison & Friends in August 2025 shows the entire crossing has been redone! The nearby
NW Frontage Rd. #1 crossing has also been removed and partially replaced by the current setup.
