Your average 12"x20" lights with a WCH mechanical bell. Taken August 3, 2003 by Josh Baumann.

TrainmanAlex2 shows us where the signals went after the line was torn out in an act of abandonment. Taken July 26, 2009.

Notes: Picture 1 was taken back when the crossing was used for freight traffic by DGNO getting up to 8 daily trains.

In picture 2, these signals are located at DGNO's Mockingbird Yard.

After the DGNO abandoned the above crossing in the mid 2000s, DART bought up the rights to the land and rebuilt the crossing. As you can see, there isn't too much of a difference between the old and new signals, although there are some noticable differences.

WCH mechanical bells remain, as well as 12"x20" frames. The light frames are from Harmon. A third signal was also added in pictures 4 and 6.

Traffic lights were also added as well, replacing older stop signs that existed back in the DGNO days.

7 8 9 10
The relay case with no emergency info on it. Here's the other signal for Manor Way traffic. The crossing activates! Notice the train speed is 35 MPH.
11 12
No bell is on this signal. Wonder why it is on the signal shown in picture 10? DART approaches the crossing. A train speed limit of 45 is just past this crossing.

Notes: The Harmon frames have Harmon fading LEDs inside of them. Also, there doesn't appear to be any emergency notification signs, so it's unknown if DART kept the old DGNO DOT number, or if the old DOT number has officially been retired.

Pictures 3-12 were taken by TrainmanAlex2 on March 19, 2011.
