A five-way intersection with a total of five cantilever signals, and NONE of them have any rear-facing lights. Denton Drive and Webb Chapel have large Safetran walkout cantilevers for each direction. Cullum Drive is a side street that comes in at an angle, and it is protected by a smaller Raco cantilever signal. There are a total of 17 pairs of lights all together. All lights here are 12"x24".

Pictures 1-7 were taken by Josh Baumann on August 3, 2003.

A view of the crossing facing North on Denton Dr. on April 2, 2005 and August4, 2007 respectively.

Notice the buildings on the left in picture 8, they are gone in picture 9. They were removed because a light rail station is being built here.

Facing Southbound.
A side view.
Note the way traffic flows...

In picture 12, the RACO cantilever will no longer protect Cullum Dr, which has been disconnected fron the intersection.

In picture 13, traffic is being detoured onto the wrong side of the road. With no rear lights available on either signal, this is dangerous.

See how dangerous this is?
Facing South on Webb Chapel.
The advance warning sign is missing. This is the only direction that had advance warning lights.

One of the cantilever signals, I think is one of the Safetran cantilevers has been removed, and a temporary 12"x20" signal has taken its place.

The cantilever signal that was removed is laying in the DGNO Mockingbird yard over in Dallas.

Now that the DART Green Line construction is complete, the southbound direction on Denton Dr. has the new cantilever seen here. The northbound direction on Denton Dr. (seen in the left background) and the westbound direction on the Webb Chapel Extension kept their existing cantilevers.

The eastbound direction on Webb Chapel has gated mast signals under the overpass, and this new cantilever signal in front of the overpass. Notice how the lights are angled to match the curve of the roadway.

The advance-warning device with the yellow beacons and the "Train when flashing" sign (seen in photo #16) still exists, although it is unknown whether it operates or is still connected. On the new traffic lights, there is a black-out message box on the eastbound signal that says "No Right Turn Across Tracks" when lit. Photos #19 and 20 were taken by Josh Baumann on December 23, 2010.
