Note: This crossing went unidentified for so long due to putting the crossing in the wrong place (Roanoke), and for not labeling the street as "Cross Timbers Rd." and only going by the FM 1171 number instead, leaving the street name blank, which does not work well when searching for crossings.

This crossing used to be gateless in the past. When the gates were added in front of the cantilever, the lights in front as well as the crossbuck on the cantilevers were removed, which is a VERY bad idea in my opinion. There were also mechanical bells on top of the cantilevers that were removed too. You can now see two WCH electronic bells on top of the mast signals.
Both pictures point in the same direction, facing East.
