There seems to be a common theme to these updates from March 14, 2004. This crossing used to be 2 lane in the past, with just the cantilevers you see.

It was upgraded to 6-lane, and the signals have been re-used, but that's about all that was re-used. All 12"x20" and 12"x24" lights are now L.E.D, and there were 2 mechanical bells on the cantilevers in the past, now there are 4 electronic bells.

No change to the crossing as of December 20, 2008. Note how 2 of the gates seen in picture 6 are bent. The mismatched backgrounds on the cantilever are still there, never fixed.
