This crossing is located on the Former NHVT (MEC) Mountain Divison.
Page created by Highball Artist (using HopenRXRTools 1.2.1).
These signals were installed circa the late 1990s, as part of a state
grant to upgrade the NHVT (formerly Maine Central) mountain division.
Unfortunately, the timing of this came not long before the end of
service of the line in September 1999, and the line and signals have
sat unused ever since. Aside from the sidelights on the northern
signal missing their visors, the they remain in pretty good condition.
Vermont Rail System has announced plans to re-activate the line from
Whitefield to St. Johnsbury in the future, so stay tuned as time goes
on.
