According to the FRA database, this crossing has had cantilevers with gates and 2 bells for a long time. However, this appears to be a fairly modern incarnation. All lights are 12" x 24" Safetran ball L.E.D.s, and both bells are General Signals Type 2 electronics. The method of installing the mast with the gate and rear lights as an "outgrowth" of the cantilever frame is a relatively recent innovation as well.

The building to the left of picture 3 is the old Chicago & Northwestern depot, now a (highly recommended) restaurant/bar called the Titletown Brewing Company. The passenger car in front of it is a static display.

The long WPSX (Wisconsin Public Service) coal train took almost nine minutes to cross, and downtown Green Bay traffic was backed up for quite a distance.
