Total Accidents: 14
Crossing DOT #: 281368B
TOTAL
DAILY TRAINS: 2 (AS OF 2008)
Facing North. |
Facing East. |
Facing South. There's a lack of a crossbuck and a 2 tracks sign! |
|
The Northbound cantilever seen in picture 1 has the only 12"x20" lights. All other lights on the mast, and the Southbound cantilever are all 12"x24".
Facing West. You can see the left track go off the main line and go into an industry. |
A very rusty relay case. |
A side view of the Southbound cantilever looking NorthWest. |
|
Closeup of the Safetran mast lights on the Southbound cantilever. |
Rear view of the Northbound cantilever. |
The mast lights on the Northbound cantilever. |
A view of the WCH mechanical bell at the crossing. |
|
On picture 9, you can see brackets showing where a crossbuck and 2 tracks sign used to be. I suspect either both signs were stolen, or CN never bothered to put them up at all.
On picture 11, the right visor is bent slightly. I wonder why the crossbuck and 2 tracks signs are turned to the left a little?
All pictures were taken on November 8, 2006.
This crossing is in a quiet zone. Trains cannot sound their horns at this crossing.
