Overview of crossing. 1 mast signal and 1 cantilever protect this crossing. |
Mast lights on cantilever. |
Front view of mast signal. |
Looking north, then south. Why so many tracks? Find out on the bottom of the page. |
|
These tracks lead to a building. |
In the past, they did! |
Let's have a train on this track. NOT! |
One WCH 12"x20" light, and one Safetran 12"x24" light. Weird. |
WCH 12"x20" sidelights. |
Older Safetran logo. |
2 different companies. |
Except for the 3 WCH 12"x20" lights, these signals are all Safetran.

Safetran base. |
Safetran mechanical bell. |
Old base. Probably used to be a mast signal. |
Now about having so many tracks. CP and UP used to have a yard here that was filled with railroad cars all the time. Now it has been reduced to no cars with many defunct tracks. The 2 tracks that end just past the crossing lead into a building that now apparently is demolished. I don't know why they don't use this as a yard anymore but that's the way it is.
