Pictures 1-16 were taken August 25,
2010. At this time the crossing had two gated mast signals with an odd
mix of Safetran and WCH 12" x 20" and 12" x 24" lights, all with
L.E.D.s. Each signal had a WCH mechanical bell on it. However, you can
see that a road construction project was underway, which by the end of
the next year would include a major upgrade to the crossing.
Pictures
17-19 are various shots of trains going though the new crossing setup.
The crossing now has a four-quad gate setup with two cantilevers, two
mast signals, four GS Type 2 e-bells, and 12" x 24" Safetran lights
with L.E.D.s. The crossing was also made a quiet zone with this
upgrade, although the latest FRA report doesn't reflect that.
Picture 17 was taken on December 13, 2011. Picture 18 was taken on
February 24, 2013. Picture 19 was taken June 17, 2013.
The
first audio file was recorded August 25, 2010 from the southeast side
of the crossing. The second audio file was recorded December 8, 2010
from the northeast side of the crossing.
The third audio file was recorded May
16, 2013 from the southwest side of the crossing.
